JUNE 23, 2026 TEXAS: INCREDIBLE MOTHERSHIP SUPERCELL STRUCTURE
Punching through the forward flank core near Amarillo, TX on I-27 to get south as we encountered heavy rain and hail. Getting a view of the base here!
Finally punched through the forward flank core to get a view of this beautiful tornado warned supercell near Canyon, TX.

Storm starting to weaken here. We waited around for a while, but decided to bail and head south to the next storm.
The next storm approaching Tulia, TX was also a beauty! Wall cloud forming on the severe warned storm here as it was dropping massive hail.
Stout, well-defined wall cloud that was slowly rotating but never really looked like a major threat to drop a tornado. Still it was a beautiful storm.
Sunset treated us with terrific view as golden colors shined through underneath the supercell updraft and through the rain/hail core. Had decent RFD winds here wrapping around the west and south of the storm base as noted by all the dirt being blown around.
