MAY 25, 2025 TEXAS: BRIEF TORNADO & SUPERCELL STRUCTURE
Supercell exploding and starting to get going near Floydada, Texas. Rotation in the base already.
Base under the hook echo swinging around the south end of the storm.

Beautiful structure on this storm! Became tornado warned here with wrapping up base and long inflow tail cloud.
Storm slowly getting its act together and broad rotation.
Broad mesocyclone with lowering on the right side near the core. Another rain core is wrapping around the south side of the hook.

We have a tornado! Confirmed to have touched down near Afton, Texas. Awesome structure too.
The tornado lifted and we were left with a beautiful storm and stout wall cloud while Silver Lining Tours guests enjoyed the amazing view.
